Users can issue natural‑language requests such as “Find me two cheap tickets for the Shaboozey concert coming up” or “Book a facial appointment next Friday,” and the system will search across multiple websites, compile a curated list of options, and provide direct links to the relevant booking pages.
The new functionality is available to users who have opted into Google’s experimental Search Labs program in the United States. Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra receive higher usage limits for the feature. The rollout builds on earlier AI Mode experiments that allowed restaurant reservations and introduced tools like a Canvas side panel for study‑plan creation and Google Lens integration for desktop‑screen queries.
How the Feature Works
When a user submits a request, AI Mode conducts real‑time searches across a variety of reservation and ticketing platforms. It then surfaces a shortlist of results that match the user’s criteria, such as price range, seat location, or service type. The user can review the options and follow a direct link to complete the purchase or reservation.
