Microsoft and NVIDIA have announced a joint investment of up to $15 billion to support Anthropic, the maker of Claude AI models. Microsoft will invest up to $10 billion while NVIDIA contributes up to $5 billion. In return, Anthropic will purchase $30 billion in Azure cloud capacity and may add up to one gigawatt of additional compute.
