Dubai‑based Cercli, an AI‑native HR and payroll platform built for the Middle East and North Africa, announced an oversubscribed $12 million Series A round led by European venture firm Picus Capital. Founded by former Careem executives Akeed Azmi and David Reche, the startup has rebuilt a Rippling‑like stack to unify people operations, payroll, and compliance for MENA businesses.
