According to a Meta spokesperson, the company was attracted to Moltbook’s “approach to connecting agents through an always‑on directory,” describing it as a novel development in the rapidly evolving AI space. Moltbook was built on OpenClaw, a framework that enables users to prompt large‑language‑model coding agents through popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Discord.
