New Hardware Launch at IFA 2025

Samsung used the IFA 2025 showcase to roll out three new products: the Galaxy S25 FE, the Galaxy Tab S11, and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The S25 FE offers a 6.7‑inch display with a high screen‑to‑body ratio, a triple‑camera system, a 12 MP selfie camera, a larger vapor chamber, the Exynos 2400 chipset, a 4,900 mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The Tab S11 returns to an 11‑inch form factor, while the Tab S11 Ultra expands to a 14.6‑inch screen and includes an 11,600 mAh battery. Both tablets run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and feature IP68 water and dust resistance.

AI Integration Across Devices

All three devices ship with full support for Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite. New AI tools such as Circle to Search, Interpreter, and generative creative features are embedded in the user experience, allowing tasks like live translation, content editing and AI‑driven search without occupying the full screen. The larger tablet displays enable floating AI tools that enhance productivity without disrupting the workflow. Samsung emphasizes that users should feel the benefit of AI without needing to recognize it as AI.

Strategic Goal for Galaxy AI Adoption

Samsung announced a strategic target to increase its Galaxy AI user base from the current 200 million to 400 million by the end of the year, leveraging the new hardware to attract a broader audience. The company frames this expansion as making AI accessible to as many people as possible, coupling hardware improvements with the AI features consumers need. Executives highlighted that AI usage is growing exponentially and that the new devices are designed to support daily AI interactions seamlessly.

Market Positioning and Consumer Outlook

The Galaxy S25 FE is positioned between the premium S-series and the budget A‑series, offering a “premium experience at a more accessible price.” Samsung’s tablet strategy focuses on performance gains—28 % better CPU performance and a 21 % faster NPU for AI tasks—alongside longevity features like larger batteries and water resistance. The company also promotes flexible usage scenarios, encouraging consumers to integrate tablets with laptops via DeX for a hybrid workflow.
