Amazon Enters the Generative AI Race with Amazon Bedrock
Amazon has officially joined the race for dominance in the generative artificial intelligence (AI) market with the recent announcement of Amazon Bedrock, a suite of AI tools designed to rival offerings from Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI's ChatGPT. As a part of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Bedrock aims to provide businesses with the resources and capabilities needed to develop and deploy their own generative AI applications. The suite includes a variety of foundation models (FMs) from both proprietary sources, like Titan, and external providers, such as AI21 Labs, Anthropic, and Stability AI.
