Wyze has launched the Palm Lock, a smart door lock that unlocks by scanning the unique vein pattern in a homeowner's hand. The biometric system is complemented by Wi‑Fi connectivity, keypad codes, a physical key, and integration with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Battery life reaches up to six months, and a USB‑C port provides emergency charging. The lock also features a gyroscope that automatically secures the door when closed and an alarm for ajar conditions. All biometric data stays on the device, and the lock works with existing Wyze video doorbells.
