OpenAI has teamed up with India’s Tata Group to secure an initial 100 megawatts of AI‑ready data center capacity, with plans to expand toward 1 gigawatt. The partnership, part of OpenAI’s Stargate project, will make OpenAI the first customer of Tata Consultancy Services’ HyperVault business and will roll out ChatGPT Enterprise across Tata’s workforce.
