Quiz and Flashcard Enhancements

Updates to the quiz and flashcard modules improve usability. Individual questions and flashcards can be deleted, progress is saved across sessions, and users can mark items as "got it" or "missed it" to focus future study. The results page has also been redesigned for clearer viewing. These upgrades are now available to all users.

Broader File Support and Export Options

NotebookLM adds EPUB as a supported source file type, allowing users to upload e‑book content for AI‑driven analysis. Additionally, slide decks can be exported in PPTX format, enabling seamless opening in Microsoft PowerPoint. These additions expand the range of content that can be processed and shared.

Direct Creation from Chat

A new workflow lets users create artifacts—such as audio overviews, reports, and infographics—directly from their chat with Gemini, without needing to switch to the Studio tab. This streamlines the creation process and makes it easier to turn conversational insights into polished deliverables.
